2025 Overall ChampionWhistle Britches

The third annual Lotasmoke lit up Lake Lotawana the weekend of October 10–11. 21 teams competed across four KCBS categories, with several coming down to just a few points. Whistle Britches ran away with the overall top prize plus top placements in brisket and chicken. The 2025 Best Party Champion, Always Rubbin' Sumptin', won the crowd over with an over-the-top Après Ski theme — DJ, shot ice luge, and all. Live music came from Material Girl & The Fame Monster, JT Martin, and Otis Roper & The Electric Soul Congregation.
