The fourth annual Lotasmoke brought 22 teams to Stafford Airfield on October 9–10. 2 Grills 1 Guy won Grand Champion with 670.2512 points, ahead of Smokin Sicilians and Team Fireball. Live music came from Whiskey Trio, Just Add Water, and Big Luke & The Soul Disciples. See every team’s scores.
The third annual Lotasmoke lit up Lake Lotawana the weekend of October 10–11. 21 teams competed across four KCBS categories, with several coming down to just a few points. Whistle Britches ran away with the overall top prize plus top placements in brisket and chicken. The 2025 Best Party Champion, Always Rubbin' Sumpin, won the crowd over with an over-the-top Après Ski theme — DJ, shot ice luge, and all. Live music came from Material Girl & The Fame Monster, JT Martin, and Otis Roper & The Electric Soul Congregation.

The 2nd Annual Lotasmoke BBQ Competition brought 21 teams back to Stafford Airfield. Tamm Good Eatin' took the overall title; Always Rubbin' Sumpin took Best Party.
The inaugural Lotasmoke — 18 teams, founded by Kyle Twenter and Craig Davis after they saw a similar event elsewhere. 80Licious took the first-ever overall title; Eddiots won Best Party.
